I am an assistant professor of political science at the University of Michigan, studying the causes, dynamics, and consequences of political conflict and violence -- particularly civil war and state repression. In recent years, my work has centered on conflict-related sexual violence. I'm currently writing a book which seeks to explain variation in sexual violence by state actors– both within and outside of war. |
